Venue

From El Zonte to Nashville, from Berlin to Austin, Bitcoin projects begin in the places where Bitcoiners live.

Bitcoin is a grassroots movement, a cheatcode to help level up. In April, we launched CheatCode in Bedford, UK. This October, we're excited to take it to Sydney, Australia.

Paddington
Town Hall

FRIDAY 25TH OCTOBER

In 1891, the Paddington Town Hall was established, standing as a symbol of civic pride and community spirit in the bustling suburb of Paddington, Sydney. This iconic building, with its grand clock tower and classic architectural style, has been a central hub for social, cultural, and political events for over a century.

Paddington Town Hall has witnessed the transformation of Sydney, from its early days as a fledgling colony to its current status as a vibrant and diverse global city. The hall has played host to countless events, from community meetings to grand celebrations, reflecting the dynamic and ever-evolving character of the city, and is the venue for our conference day.

Much like many urban centers worldwide, Sydney faces challenges brought by the digital era. The shift towards online business models has affected local retail sectors, and the city is grappling with issues of economic disparity. In some parts of Sydney, a significant portion of families live below the poverty line, and many children grow up in low-income households.

UnConference Day

SATURDAY 26TH OCTOBER

For the second day of our conference, we're embracing an unconventional approach to the conference experience with an "unconference" day.

Instead of another day of speakers, we're inviting everyone to join us for a day at the beach. We’ll have a BBQ, volleyball competition, and surf lessons for those who want to get in the water.

In the afternoon, we'll head to Brewdog where we’ll have a Bitcoin quiz, and plenty of food and drink as we head into the night hours.

For those who are still awake, we'll watch the Real Bedford live stream, before heading to bed.
